A creative training program designed to mentor and up-skill female surf and underwater cinematographers through ocean-based collaborative filmmaking, creating pathways for women in water cinematography.

OCEAN IS SHE

Developed to positively engage young creatives and surfers in the Randwick area, the project involved workshops and the making of a short film with over 30 local surfers and youth across the beaches of Maroubra and Malabar.

SURF ZOMBIES

Feature Film | In Development

An Australian cult zombie feature film set in the insular surfing communities of Maroubra and the South Coast, it anticipates a not-too-distant future of climate change catastrophes. Emotional, cool and gritty, Surf Zombies fuses family drama and teenage romance with the horror of a human-zombie hybrid apocalypse.

Sydney Youth Performance Lab engages young people in developing confidence, storytelling and performance skills through workshops and the creation of short filmed monologues.

SALTWATER GIRL

Feature Film | In Development

Saltwater Girl is a feature film in development inspired by the life story of an Aboriginal woman navigating kinship, identity and survival across generations. Set between memory and the present, the ocean becomes a powerful symbol of resilience and belonging.

TREADING WATER

Short Film | In Development

Once a rising star on the junior pro surf circuit, Will now wanders aimlessly through Sydney’s queer nightlife and dance scene, lost in a haze of drinking, drugs, and fleeting encounters.When tragic news pulls him back to his quiet coastal hometown, he’s forced to confront the ghosts he thought he had buried. Presented with an opportunity to mend broken relationships and reconnect with his past, Will must choose between confronting his demons or keep running.
